Some things in life call us so deeply we cannot look away from them.  They call us to the truth of who we are and what we can give in the world. My calling is to yoga. I know, in my deepest heart, that my path lies in this practice.

I understand yoga not through theory or philosophy or teachings but through the experience I have lived in my own body, heart and soul. It's in the peace and complete joy I have found through my practice. In the slight change of breath as soon as I step onto the mat. In my calming heart. In the journey to myself I find there, day after day.

I know what it means to reject the body. I know what it means to struggle in the undertanding of what it means to be a woman. And I have found, in my practice, a path to peace- as a woman, in this body, in this world.

If I can in any way share my journey. If I can empower women to understand and love the perfection of the bodies we are given. If I can help just one woman find just one moment of perfect love and self acceptance and utter joy in her heart... my path is through yoga.

The malas are tools of power and healing. They are creations of crystal and earth, of vibration and intention. They are beautiful and powerful in ways I cannot understand or take credit for.

If one of the malas speaks to you only you will know why. I hope you can experience the beautiful power of these pieces for your own journey. And I am deeply grateful to you for helping me continue on mine.

All my love,

Cassandra
